When approaching Bellingham from the north or south on Interstate 5, take Exit #252, marked Samish Way and Western Washington University. Turn west onto Samish Way and follow the signs to Bill McDonald Parkway and the University campus. When Bill McDonald Parkway ends, turn left onto East College Way then take the first right onto 21st Street.  At the bottom of the hill take a left and the SMATE building will be the first building after the parking lot.  There is a 20 minute Loading Zone parking space next to the handicap parking.  For more parking information call (360) 650-2945 or stop by the campus Visitor Center.  On Campus Maps the building in which SMATE resides is listed as SL, which stands for "Science Lecture."
