What is it?

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month is celebrated annually in June. This month is to honor the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City. These riots were dedicated to fighting for basic rights that the LGBT community have been consistently refused by society. This event was the tipping point for the LGBT community and is now celebrated all month long through parades, parties, workshops and so much more!
