Congratulations to Dr. Lauren Dudley on Promotion to Assistant Professor of Chemistry Education

Dr. Lauren Dudley has officially been promoted to Assistant Professor of Chemistry Education starting Fall of 2026! She will be dually appointment in the Chemistry Department and the SMATE Program here at Western Washington University. 

Since joining Western in 2023, Dr. Dudley has made a significant impact across both departments through her teaching, scholarship, and commitment to student success. She teaches a range of courses spanning chemistry content and science education, and her work consistently centers on expanding access, equity, and belonging in STEM fields.
